Hi my name is Clarissa.Today I'm going to tell you why smoking is bad.Do you know why smoking is bad?Some people like smoking.Cigarettes are sold pretty much everywhere.But now people start to stop after they know that smoking causes cancer and heart disease.Some kids start smoking just because they're curious.They see lots of other people who smoke and they think it's a way to act like an adult.Cigarettes kill thousands of people.If you smoke,you can make it more difficult for your blood to move .The longer you smoke,the worse the damage becomes.Cigarettes are expensive.A pack of cigarettes cost about$6.That means if you buy just one pack a week you will spend about $312 in a year.Some people smoke a pack a day which adds up to $2190 a year!If you know somebody who smoke,you can help them by encouraging them to quit.They might be a little angry at first,but soon they might realise that you are right.
